Cooking Vegan and I can make Quiche
I found a recipe for Quiche on the side of a box of Ener-G Egg Replacer and thought I would give it a try. I also found gluten free vegan pie crusts at 2 for $6 at a local holistic market. I bake, but pie crusts are a pain to make. Anyways this was my end result and it tastes pretty good. It is VEGAN. It is just vegan cheese, vegetables, rice milk and egg replacer in the pie crust.
Anyways, I don’t think I wrote about this before, but I have also been making banana flapjacks, though apparently I should probably not be eating bananas- too much vitamin K.
And I have also been experimenting with ways to cook corn pasta without processed sauce, like using fresh basil, mushroom, tomatoes, garlic and olive oil. Note I also ate a whole avocado. Seriously it is not that expensive to eat natural and vegan, it just takes a little extra time.
I also made this pasta dish, kind of similar to the above, but I think I used salad dressing with fresh tomatoes cooked and then added vegan cheese over the top.
I experiment constantly in the kitchen because I can’t stand boredom, especially food. I like new things.
