My time at ADDA
I thought I would share my time at AADA the summer after I had cancer. I got in auditioning with Oleanna & 12th Night. I had just finished a few week job on “Balls of Fury” as a Russian soldier. I worked hard. Four weeks of intense classes and me trying to find set work at night or on the weekends through it.
I had four classes. Voice. Acting. Movement and Singing. I did fair to good. I want and need to keep training. I have news for the cops. Not everyone with the Union is trained to Act. Not everyone is a celebrity. Not everyone is Hot or a model. All in good standing get free workshops at SAG Foundation and AFI. And it is not a privilege that should be denied at random or because those in power don’t like someone or think thry suck. There are members of the Union who need classes. If I am as bad as my Twitter attacker claims obviously I need the classes and workshops. I worked hard city card. Your not going to make me work hard to be a cop, lawyer, banker, real estate agent. Don’t you get it? Slavery ended. I’m not your property. Your mentally ill to me if you try to force me to be someone I don’t want to be, used to be, or can’t be.
According to the above I lack confidence. How do you think I feel with what Shondraland and the Union did. I worked hard and am a member of the Union and there are people who are not celebrities and not trained to act who are members and at the events. It is wrong and should be unlawful to destroy my reputation, my goals and my way of life.
