Disappointed in the GOP
I started to title this post “Disappointed in Democracy.” But that is not true. I believe in individual freedoms and rights. I believe that the only way for individuals to coexist is for a certain about of healthy autonomy. It is not possible for a society to be completely communal in large numbers. Psychologically most people need a sense of individual freedom.
This week the GOP exonerated 45. I find it hard to say his name. Many admitted he was guilty but that it basically did not matter. I am disgusted. It goes against every ethical principal to exonerate a guilty man especially when the acts are self serving and against the general wishes and rights of the majority of the American people.
I wanted to share the list of the Senators who voted NOT GUILTY. Granted they all did not vote not guilty for both articles. Senator Romney of Utah voted guilty on abuse of power.
Please vote in your state primaries and elections accordingly.
