I thought about giving a day to day of my life on sets and I probably will write a more detailed blog about how I got started, that first moment I took the plunge, but instead I have decided to make a run down of the first 5 months.

When I think of all the stories I have heard and the different ways people have begun working on sets and acting, I find allot of false tales.  Doing what I did for those months back in 2003 I am not ashamed of, and frankly I was good and appreciated.

09/29/03 Fan “The Aviator” 12.75 hours.  I had a metal bar fall on my foot.  Actually the fans got a little unruly at the request of DiCaprio and it fell over.  I was fine. The medic put a ice pack on it and while everyone else went into holding I got to sit there and watch Scorsese and DiCaprio work.  Every once in awhile DiCaprio would look over at me and ask if I was ok. I received a nice bruise but otherwise I was fine.

10/13/03 “LA Riots” This was a comedy spoof staring Emilio Estevez and they dressed us up in black leather. I remember casting calling me because wardrobe wanted the girls to be practically naked and it all worked out.  I ended up petting Estevez’s head.  Seriously.  I was supposed to be a crazed fan and so I went for his hair.  8 hours? The pay stub is torn.

10/21/03 Beach person “Cellular” Avery 8 hours (UPS pay) Shot at the Santa Monica Pier with the band G Love and Special Sauce and I was the only there who had seen them before and knew who they were.  Kind of funny.  We had ash rain on us from the fires.

10/25/03 “Motorcross” Prime Casting – tag 8.5 hours Higher based commercial. Prime pay This production involved a chimpanzee and the son of the guy who was in Big Ben.  Kind of fun but we had to leave early because of the fires.  That was not fun.

I think I am missing some pay checks because i had a briefcase stolen but none of the union important ones. I just know that I had more deadwood days than listed here in December, not many just a few.  This is just 2003.  Let alone 2004 to 2009.
