Do you know what I don’t like? Injustice.\u00a0 My heroes are Abe Lincoln, Thomas Jefferson, and well I’m going to add Susan Sarandon and George Clooney in that mix, though I feel kind of weird about Clooney, simply because I have a feeling he would not want to be called that by anyone.\u00a0 I worked background for years on sets starting in August of 2003, and just when I could have gotten my SAG card, I had cancer.\u00a0 So I followed my doctors orders and did what I loved while having my breasts taken from me and recovering from it.\u00a0 That summer I also signed up for a web class (I did that pre-cancer and just decided to finish it while trying to figure out what to do).\u00a0 After my diagnosis I signed up for a commercial class with Cyb Barnstable.\u00a0 I do that.\u00a0 When my life is falling apart I sign up for an acting class.\u00a0 If you know you might die, what would you do?\u00a0 I did what seemed natural for me.\u00a0 Someone I think on set had told me about her class, and then I later ended up studying privately with her studio group.\u00a0 Later I ended up being cast in a web-series because of one of the women in that class.\u00a0 I am very grateful for that.\u00a0<\/p>\n
What makes me angry?\u00a0 In the time silent film actresses could not talk, but they were still called actresses.\u00a0 And in Hollywood you get actors who do interviews making fun of the people walking around behind them like they are less than human.\u00a0 I just finished watching a clip from the background of Gray’s Anatomy.\u00a0 I will be honest. I am trying to find a photo of a crew person who while I worked the show ended up making some rather weird comments about me being kicked out of my apartment and how the next time i went to where my parents were I would not be staying in a hotel.\u00a0 I thought I was losing my mind.\u00a0 Until I was treated like a criminal and degraded by them.\u00a0 I am a trained actress.\u00a0 And to me well watch some of the behind the scenes.\u00a0 They do bad mouth the extras and basically admit they are not professional.\u00a0 Well I am and their slander of my person and probably preventing me from having a future when I did nothing wrong, should be criminal.\u00a0 I may have walked behind them, but they had no right to say I was not a lawyer, or that I should be treated as though I might hurt others.\u00a0 Little boys playing sick games and to think I just figured out that my first day on the set of Gray’s Anatomy was 09\/23 or 24\/05.\u00a0 I spent a few days that week on other projects including Bones.\u00a0\u00a0I had my mastectomy on 09\/01\/05.\u00a0 So on my first day on their set I did not have boobs anymore.\u00a0 And every day I am not working toward acting or being on sets I wish I had not chosen to live. And no psychologist is going to fix that because I made a documentary for cancer in 2008 when they lied about me.\u00a0 And i deserve restitution for the last two years of nightmares.\u00a0 And to know I have the right to audition without being treated like a second class citizen in my own country just because I spent some time walking around on a set with Dempsey and Dane.\u00a0 And yet in 5 years, the casting offices had no complaints about me, even when I had the cancer and was fighting for my life.\u00a0<\/p>\n
And since i heard a crew person on the set who seemed to know where My parents live, and that I live in the neighborhood where they shoot and have for years and I am not moving. I have had my mail opened from my local postoffice so I have a postoffice in a different city.\u00a0 It makes me wonder how much thier money can buy, and when or if I will get my justice for their lies. I would never do anything criminal, but I am not going to leave los angeles because they thought what?\u00a0 I still don’t know who they thought I wanted in the area of men, and frankly since the men I really liked were all on a different network or in films or have never even worked Gray’s Anatomy before- how insane is that?<\/p>\n
I am trustworthy.\u00a0 It took the industry violating my trust for me to get this angry.\u00a0 I need to know I have a future but I wonder some times if we have not all lost touch with something in the past few years.\u00a0 I notice there seem to be more people who don’t care or those who do who seem to want to make others do what they think is right even if it ends up destroying hope.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
