I have a confession. Back in the late 90s and eary 2000s I wrote fanfiction on line for Days of Our Lives. I do not remember what user name I went by. I actualyl entered a kissing competition for BROE and their first kiss and it won. there were however only like 2 or three entrants. I have lost that scene. If anyone knows how to find it please send it my way. I believe it was set in Brady’s apartment and ended with the kiss. <\/p>\n
I was going through my old hard drives looking for old scripts I wrote and much to my surprise I did find one of the scenes I wrote for fan fiction for the couple Brady and Chloe. My exboyfriend used to hate that I spent time doing this. I would get inspired and get up and write late and spent hours also reading the fan fiction. Actually because of the BROE fan faction I started reading the books of Francine Rivers. Someone had written a fan fiction taking one of her stories and changing it to be the characters of Days. Talk about really being into fan fiction. this writer had taken an entire novel and mashed it with the Soap.<\/p>\n
This is called REVELATION and it was written in 2002. I will never understand why my exboyfriend hated me doing this. It actually made me passionate about life and the more he tried to stop me being creative and using my time to do things that did not involve him, the more I hated him. I deserved someone better than FRANK. I deserved someone who would let me do things that made me feel alive and that included writing and acting.<\/p>\n
Irony is in 2005 I ended up getting cancer. Yep. My art imitating my life. I have the original file and it is dated 2002. <\/p>\n
By the way this may be the kissing scene I wrote but I thought there was another one and that was the one that won the contest. <\/p>\n
The character Chloe actually did have leukemia in the show in 2002. I wrote this in May of 2002 just two months before moving to California. <\/p>\n
