Well not just today.\u00a0 I spent the last few months doing agency workshops for who ever I could afford and seemed interesting. I find the casting workshops more enjoyable.\u00a0\u00a0 I always felt like I was at a meat market in front of agents.\u00a0 It was easier for me to give to the casting agents what they wanted.\u00a0 They gave me a character they thought I could play and so I performed to the best of my ability.\u00a0 It was easier for me to sell myself doing the job I loved then selling me.\u00a0 Strange but true.\u00a0 I’d rather sell my ability than my person.\u00a0 Maybe though that is the solution.\u00a0 I need to think less of each manager or agent as someone wanting to purchase who I am and more as someone wanting to cast me.\u00a0 I get the difference though.\u00a0 Agents want to know they can sell you and they need to believe in you.\u00a0 For some reason the concept of the car salesman comes to mind.\u00a0 I used to ride a little pink scooter before I crashed it.\u00a0<\/p>\n

My scooter I called "Baby" and "Shrimp."<\/p><\/div>\n

I miss my scooter.\u00a0 It was kind of an extension of me.\u00a0 I never understood man’s obsession with cars until I crashed my “baby” also known as “shrimp.”\u00a0 I’m like my scooter.\u00a0 I am cute and pink and well one little unique artist in the pond of acting.\u00a0 I just need to find a few people to represent me so I will not get swallowed by the big whales or cats of Hollywood.\u00a0 I’ll be all right.\u00a0 Just got to keep plugging and striving and working the craft no matter what.\u00a0 I am not very materialistic but boy do i miss Baby.\u00a0 One day I will have a Baby 2, but for now I have to sacrifice that for finding work and finding ways to do the things I truly enjoy.\u00a0\u00a0 I want to be the best I can be, but not sacrifice the little shrimp in me.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
