<\/a>This is the old fridge. Surprised? After 5 years it looks like new. Oh it has a few stickers stuck to the outside and some scrapes, but otherwise nice and WHITE. <\/a><\/p>\nAnd see: My manager and her husband told me it looked brand new. The guy who came to replace this fridge with a new one told my manager that all they needed to do was replace the Freon, or well what ever substance makes it make cold. He gave them the name of a friend who would fix it for $40. They told me they would put it into storage. <\/p>\n Now this is what they gave me- my new fridge which I must say I like. So much that I researched how to use the two humidity drawers in the bottom. (One you put on high for leafy greens and the other you put on low for fruit and tomatoes- do a search on line for what items go where.) The drawers: I cleaned out the old fridge before they came to take it away and I also cleaned the new fridge before putting food in. The only thing I found was this mildew stain in the back. YUK! My manager wanted me to fill out the warranty information but I intend to give it for her to fill out today. First the instructions that came with it says it has an ice maker, but it does not have one. See: I like the freezer with its nice little shelf:<\/p>\n <\/p>\n And the door shelves as well: The new fridge inspired me to organize my kitchen. My apartment may be a bit disorganized (I notice it gets that way if I find myself in a position where I don\u2019t feel I have the right to my own life- that is for another blog), but because of my food allergies I have to have an organized kitchen. I would get mad at prior room mates for not helping in the kitchen and leaving me with the GRUNT of the work, especially guy housemates. <\/p>\n And by the way- sorry guys but organize your own. If I had a husband I would marry one for love, fun, and a peaceful home, not money, slavery, and well to be your unprofessional MAID. Hire someone to do this for yourself, or find a weaker woman. THANK YOU. I do like actors but I am not here to be that actors personal assistant either. TEAM WORK not status is what I seek- equality of the mind and heart. I broke up with my ex back east for not being into acting, not wanting to move to California, and well not doing his share to make me feel if we stayed together we would have a peaceful, fun, safe home.<\/p>\n Lets hope the new fridge lasts as long as the old one and looks just as good. Actually technically the old one is still available for use once it gets fixed. <\/p>\n And to any family stalking me and reading this- I don\u2019t need you to clean up after me, and I am not going to clean up after YOU-let me get a job in the industry I WANT TO WORK IN because I WAS DOING FINE taking care of myself. <\/p>\n I have huge food allergies and I am vegan so I get creative with my food. <\/p>\n My first cooking endeavors consisted of oatmeal cooked with frozen mango, maple sugar, and topped with some yogurt. I don\u2019t eat a great deal but I make it count. <\/p>\n And my latest masterpiece is my last Pumpkin Coconut Soup for the season \u2013 used my last can. How long until Pumpkin Season again- 6 months <\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<\/a> Note I put a bluapple in both drawers to keep fruit and vegetables longer.<\/p>\n<\/a> But it is gone now. <\/p>\n<\/a> <\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<\/a> First thing I did was go out and buy my frozen spices that I use to make my own pesto sauce: <\/a><\/p>\n<\/a> See spices all put away: <\/a><\/p>\n<\/a> I also made grits with mixed vegetables topped with an avocado.<\/p>\n<\/a> <\/a><\/p>\n.<\/a><\/p>\n
