Crank Call and false comments & Deadwood
I found these letters I wrote and I realize they are significant to a degree. First a letter to Kenneth Roth the AD of Deadwood. I got cast on “Carnivale” and well got the call to work the second Season of “Deadwood.” So when I went in for my fitting of “Deadwood” I went into the production office and asked to see Kenny to talk to him about it. I wanted to work, but well Carnivale felt like a better fit for me, though I liked the actors on “Deadwood.” Later even Paula Malcomson agreed on that one. However on Deadwood the girls were kind of not friendly to me, played phone games and I did not want drama- just work. I told Kenny in the letter I was a lawyer and that I was working now full time on sets.
The second letter is a letter to Central Casting. I received a prank call from a Christmas party for a call in service several background from “Carnivale” were a part of. the message was that I would be fired from Central for too many cancellations. I also had a false cancellation I wrote the letter to get off my file. Apparently they had me cancelling VEGAS for a day that I was in Palm Springs shooting a film called “the ISLAND.” I had been pre-fit in advance for “the Island.” I never called to book myself on “Vegas.” And well Central by that time had “the Island.” they would know a fitting would take precedent over a request and the “Vegas” call apparently was not a recall and supposedly I cancelled for having the wrong shoes. I don’t own a great collection of heels and “Vegas” would give me shoes to wear. It made no sense at all.
