This is a really cool thing to do in Santa Monica.  I wrote a blog on Artistic Hope about it.  My grandmother growing up made me Do crafts.  I wanted to read books and be left alone.  She wanted me in eye sight.  I don’t know what she thought I’d get into.  Actually I once found my grandfathers playboy magazines.  I didn’t read them.  She walked in just as I found them.  It was funny actually.  I don’t think my grandfather knew my grandmother knew.  I don’t know what else my grandmother thought I’d get into if left alone upstairs.  Again I just wanted to read my novels.
