Why I HATE my FATHER
Growing up my father would ruin any TV show I watched with him. He would tell me there was a formula to movies and he would tell me how the story was going to end. I learned how to tell though from that experience how a story on the TV would typically end. Today though Hollywood has gotten a bit better and smarter.
My dad would also point to some guy acting who had a law degree and tell me that I could do what he was doing. I can. I can act. He meant I could be a lawyer like the actor who was a lawyer for real playing an actor. But even lawyers on TV shows who are acting really don’t act like real lawyers. I wanted to be an actor but every time I said I wanted that my father would say I wanted to be a lawyer to until I just started saying yeah I do just to stop him from yelling and fighting with me about it.
Recently I was reminded of my father’s TV push to make me be a lawyer. THE SHOW ALLEGIANCE. You see as a kid I would see this man acting: Fred Dalton Thompson. Please note he is a REPUBLICAN and a former LAWYER. I will never be a republican and I don’t care about being a lawyer, or running for CONGRESS. My father would point to Mr. Thompson as though he were my future. Well I wanted a future ACTING. I had to go along with my father from FEAR.
I will never be a REPUBLICAN. I will never want to work to promote the arts if I can’t be with MY UNION. WILL WALLACE I DON”T WANT TO BE A REPULBICAN LIKE YOU I want to be an ACTOR. SHONDRA RHIMES I don’t want to be gay or be forced to have sex with people I Don’t want to be an actor.
If we have a free economy I should be allowed to put my hat in the ring with the rest of the members of my UNION and have the SAME RIGHTS AS EVERYONE ELSE REGARDLESS OF MY REPUBLICAN FATHER GIVING ME MONEY. AND UNLESS I KNOW I CAN BE AN ACTOR I HAVE NO JOY IN LIFE AND I HAVE NO vision of my future where I will be SUCCESSFUL. No job will ever make me satisfied as much as when I was on set. Nothing makes me feel more alive and confident then being able to go to an audition to act. Nothing to me is more fun than a cold reading. I don’t care if you all think I am CRAZY I think this country has lost its mind. I have four union vouchers and I have no interest in wanting a future with a career and a mortgage and a boyfriend and friend to go to the movies with or have dinners with. WHY THE HELL WOULD I WANT TO HANG OUT WITH PEOPLE TALKING ABOUT SOME TV SHOW THEY SAW OR MOVIE IF I CAN NOT BE WORKING ON A SET EVER AS AN ACTOR AGAIN. DOES ANYONE THINK I AM GOING TO CARE WHO WINS THE OSCARS OR WHAT SHOW PEOPLE AT THE WATER FOUNTAIN ARE WATCHING IF I CAN”T SAY I WORKED ON SETS FOR FIVE YEARS AND THAT WAS THE BEST TIME OF MY LIFE AND I FUCKING HATE ALL OF YOU AT THE WATER FOUNTAIN TALKING ABOUT WHAT TV YOU WATCHED BECAUSE THE ONLY THING I WANT IS TO BE BACK ON A SET WORKING TO MAKE TV AND USING MY IMAGINATION TO MAKE CHARACTERS AND TO FEEL ALIVE AND TO FEEL LIKE IT OK TO USE MY IMGINATION AND BE EXPRESSIVE AND PLAY AGAIN. I WILL HATE MY JOB. I WILL HATE THE PEOPLE I WORK WITH. I WILL NOT WANT TO PROMOTE FILM AND TV AND WORK AS A SET PHOTOGRAPHER AND EDITOR BECAUSE OF WHAT THESE THREE MONSTERS DID WHO NEVER WORKED ON A SET AND CERTAINLY JUDGED ME WITHOUT FINDING OUT I REALLY AM A LAWYR AND WHAT MAKES ME SICK IS THREE OF THESE PEOPLE COULD EASILY LOOK ME UP ON THE CALIFORNIA BAR SIGHT. With the exception of the NEW President of Hollywood the other three in this picture were at the meeting in 2012 where the POLICE put me on a three day hold because they could not believe I was a lawyer or that I had a right to be an actor. I WANT TO SUE THEM and I want to take CRABTREE IRELAND before the STATE BAR to ask him is he not supposed to be protecting my rights TOO.
these are the highlights of the meeting that I was not allowed to attend:
Jan. 26 Membership Meeting Highlights
Elected leaders, general members and SAG-AFTRA staff convened for the L.A. Local membership meeting on Jan. 26 at the Sportsmen’s Lodge to discuss current union affairs and what to expect in the months ahead. Members were also given the opportunity to learn about union benefits, SAG-AFTRA local committees and programs. Read the highlights below to see how SAG-AFTRA is working on your behalf.
• SAG-Producers Pension & Health trustees have developed a new plan option to provide health coverage for members who do not meet earning requirements for SAG P&H or AFTRA H&R. Beginning in July, members can combine SAG health plan earnings and AFTRA health plan earnings to meet the threshold ($15,001) for SAG-Producers P&H Plan II. Click here for more information.
• AFTRA Health & Retirement announced that health and chemical dependency providers who are not in the Value Options Networks are now covered under the AFTRA H&R plan. This means members will receive coverage for providers inside or outside of the network. Also, AFTRA H&R reminded members to keep all information current for health insurance eligibility purposes. To register or update information, please click here.
• L.A. Local members have access to several career-enhancing services that can be found on the L.A. Local website. These services include computer training through the Actor’s Fund, discounts to local conferences and productions, workshops and seminars through the L.A. Conservatory, more than 50 film screenings through the SAG-AFTRA Hollywood Film Society and much more.
• SAG-AFTRA is continuously working in conjunction with local legislative organizations to increase film and TV production incentives and keep productions local. These efforts will afford greater work opportunities for SAG-AFTRA L.A. Local members.
Because I am a female LAWYER and A democrat I am not allowed any of these benefits. I hate YOU BALTIMORE I REALLY DO.
